Before You Delete — Download a Copy

Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep a portable copy of your data — events, streams, attachments, audit log, and more — use the self-service download tool first: Download All My Data.

The tool produces a series of ZIP files in an open, machine-readable format you can keep, archive, or forward to another service.

How to Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your Health Data Safe account and all associated data, send a deletion request by email to:

support@healthdatasafe.org

Please include the username or email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm by email once complete.


Selective Data Management

You can also selectively delete or modify most of the data stored on HDS directly from the web application, the iOS app, or the Android app, without deleting your entire account. This includes individual health entries, diary records, connections, and data streams.

Our Commitment

Health Data Safe Foundation is a non-profit organization under Swiss law. Your personal data is never considered an asset of the Foundation. In the event of the Foundation’s dissolution, all personal data must be destroyed — after giving users and authorized researchers the opportunity to download it — or migrated to a service offering similar guarantees.
